Jillian Nadolski started with Cornerstone Alliance in March of 2023 as the Business Development Coordinator. Now, as the Manager of Physical Development, her role within the organization consists of three main components: promoting the area’s available sites and buildings in efforts to attract new businesses and industries to Berrien County; implementing community-driven, physical development projects to stimulate talent attraction; and coordinating operational efforts to secure and utilize grant funding to achieve the growth ambitions in the municipalities we serve. As a fifth-generation resident of Saint Joseph, her understanding of and love for the area drives the work that she does.

Jillian graduated summa cum laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design in May of 2021 with a B.F.A. in Preservation Design and a minor in Design for Sustainability. This path of education has led her to make the conscious choice to design with intention and consideration, focusing on adaptive reuse as a tool for incorporating sustainability into the field of both preservation and economic development. With an employment background in customer service, Jillian brings a level of approachability and attentiveness to the team. A detail-oriented nature, combined with a high level of organization, makes Jillian an asset when fielding and managing multiple large-scale projects at once. In addition to her work at Cornerstone Alliance, Jillian has been a Reservist with FEMA since July of 2021. She works on call as an Interagency Recovery Coordination Specialist, responding and deploying to sites of federally declared disasters to assist in the disaster recovery process. Her work with FEMA has further honed her advocacy, accountability, and interpersonal skills.

When not working, you can find Jillian entertaining her niece, putting her art degree to use by painting and crafting, or on the pickleball court, fueling her new obsession. A budding entrepreneur, you will also find Jillian peddling curated finds at Antiques on the Bluff in downtown Saint Joseph, May through October.
